ICC world T20: South Africa vs England Highlights

Liam Plunkett a replacement to the injured Steve Finn can handle the pace combination, Slow left-arm bowler Liam Dawson will replace Rashid, whose confidence will be little low after he was smashed by Gayle.
Morgan said seccond defeat will be the end of the chances of the team for heading towards the sumi-finals. England have to come up with different bowling strategy, they have to do something different for their chance of survival in the tournament.
England’s batsmen had performed well in the previous match except Roy who missed little. Team should try to perform better in their middle overs and have to avoid the mistakes made in the previous matche against the Indies.
The dew factor gave some trouble to the bowlers which will continue in the upcoming game too, both the teams will try to choose to bowl first to avoid the dew factor. English bowlers were smashed by Gayle in the previous match, meanwhile AB De villers is capable of doing the same to the bowlers, which will be the matter of concern to the team.

South Africa started the innings in a blistering pace. de Kock 52 runs of 24 balls Hashim Amla’s 58 runs of 31 balls gave South Africa probably one of the best starts in the game. South Africa lost their first wicket after scoring 96 runs in 7 overs. De kick was the first one to go after scoring wonderful shots.
AB de Villiers didn’t make much impact on the game. He scored just 2 glorious 6’s but didn’t manage to continue. His 16 runs of 8 balls added to the total score though.
Faf du Plessis 17 runs may not add much but his partnership with JP Duminy who scored 54 of 24 balls did add petrol to the fire. David Miller 28 runs in 12 balls did manage to add more runs to the score. At the end of 20 overs South Africa scored 229 after loosing 4 wickets.
England in response started the game equally as good as South Africa started. Jason Roy’s 43 of 15 balls did gave great confidence to the English players. Hales quick 17 of 7 balls with 4 x 4’s gave England 48 runs in 2.3 overs. Probably best runs scored by any team in the first 2.3 overs in any T20 internationals.
After quick wickets of 2-71 (Roy, 4.3 ov) and 3-87 (Stokes, 5.4 ov) England rate of scoring runs dropped down a lot. England managed to finish the 100 runs mark in the 7th over but they lost 3 wickets in the chase.
At this phase of the game the win predictor moved to South Africa’s side. 61% is what they have after 8.4 overs.
Next match in the ICC T20 World Cup is India vs Pakistan. It’s going to be a big game for India just like today’s big game for England.
